Description | CD238 (KEL) Antibody, anti-human, APC, REAfinity™. Clone REA330 recognizes the human CD238 antigen, a single-pass type II membrane protein also known as kell blood group glycoprotein (KEL). CD238 is a highly polymorphic antigen which links via a single disulfide bond to the XK membrane protein that carries the Kx antigen. It is expressed at high levels in erythrocytes and Sertoli cells, and at lower levels in skeletal muscle, in follicular dendritic cells, lymph nodes, and spleen. CD238 is also expressed in many adult and fetal nonerythroid tissues, including brain and bone marrow. | Additional information: Clone REA330 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
