Description | CD41 Antibody, anti-mouse, APC-Vio® 770, REAfinity™. Clone REA1194 recognizes the mouse CD41 antigen, a single-pass type I membrane protein also known as integrin α2b or GPIIb. CD41 associates with CD61 to form the heterodimeric gpIIb/gpIIIa complex that is present on megakaryocytes, platelets, and early hematopoietic progenitors. The CD41/CD61 complex is a receptor for several adhesion molecules such as fibronectin, fibrinogen, plasminogen, and vitronectin and mediates platelets aggregation. CD41 expression marks the divergence of definitive hematopoietic precursors from the hemangioblasts or hemogenic endothelium during mouse embryonic development. | Additional information: Clone REA1194 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
