Description | IL-2 Antibody, anti-mouse, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA665 recognizes the mouse interleukin-2 (IL-2) antigen. The T cell growth factor IL-2, mainly produced by activated CD4+ T cells, is a central regulator of the immune response. It induces cell cycle progression of resting cells in an antigen non-specific manner and allows clonal expansion of activated T cells. IL-2 has been found to stimulate growth and differentiation of B cells, NK cells, monocytes, and oligodendrocytes. In addition, IL-2 plays a role in hematopoiesis, tumor surveillance, and anti-inflammatory reactions. | Additional information: Clone REA665 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
