Description | CD179b Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA1066 recognizes the CD179b antigen-like family member B, also known as immunoglobulin lambda like polypeptide (IGLL1). CD179b is expressed on pro-B and pre-B cells, where it is involved in transduction of signals for cellular proliferation, differentiation from the pro-B cell to the pre-B cell stage, allelic exclusion at the Ig heavy chain gene locus, and support of Ig light chain gene rearrangements. The gene encoding for CD179b, as a B cell receptor, belongs to the immunoglobulin gene superfamily. | Additional information: Clone REA1066 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
