Description | Phosphotyrosine Antibody, anti-human/mouse, Vio® B515, REAfinity™. Clone REA374 recognizes phosphorylated tyrosine residues (p-Tyr) on proteins. Phosphorylation of proteins is an important regulatory mechanism that occurs in numerous intracellular signaling cascades. Within a protein, phosphorylation usually occurs on serine, threonine, tyrosine, and histidine residues. Phosphorylation on serine is the most common, followed by threonine. Tyrosine phosphorylation is relatively rare but is at the origin of protein phosphorylation signaling pathways in most of the eukaryotes. | Additional information: Clone REA374 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
