Description | CD48 Antibody, anti-mouse, PerCP-Vio® 700. The HM48-1 antibody reacts with the CD48 mouse antigen, which is a 45 kDa GPI-linked glycoprotein also known as BCM1, blast-1 (human), or OX-45 (rat). CD48 belongs to the SLAM family including CD48, CD244, and CD150. These cell surface receptors were differentially expressed among functionally progenitors. Hematopoietic stem cells are highly purified as CD150-CD48-CD244- cells, multipotent hematopoietic progenitors are CD244+CD150-CD48- and most restricted progenitor cells are CD48+CD244+CD150-. In mouse, the ligands for CD48 are CD2 and CD244. |
