DescriptionPCNA Antibody, anti-human/mouse/rat, APC, REAfinity™. Clone REA858 recognizes the human, mouse, and rat proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), a 36 kDa nuclear protein also known as cyclin or auxiliary protein of DNA polymerase delta. PCNA is expressed in the nucleus of all proliferating cells. PCNA plays a role in the control of eukaryotic DNA replication by increasing the polymerase's processibility during elongation of the leading strand. Furthermore, it is involved in DNA damage response by being conveniently positioned at the replication fork to coordinate DNA replication with DNA repair and DNA damage tolerance pathways. | Additional information: Clone REA858 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
