Description | CD103 Antibody, anti-rat, Biotin, REAfinity™. Clone REA531 recognizes the rat CD103 antigen, a type I transmembrane protein, which is also known as αE integrin. It associates with integrin β7 to form the heterodimeric integrin molecule αEβ7 and is a receptor for the ligand E-cadherin expressed on epithelial cells. CD103 is expressed by bone marrow-derived dendritic cells and is found on intraepithelial and peripheral lymphocytes, such as regulatory T cell subpopulations. Rat plasmacytoid dendritic cells do not express the dendritic cell-specific marker CD103. | Additional information: Clone REA531 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
