Description | Rae-1 Pan Specific Antibody, anti-mouse, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA723 recognizes the Rae-1 pan specific antigen, a surface protein and member of GPI-linked (glypiated) proteins which share partial homology with MHC class I molecules. Rae-1 was detected in early mouse embryos, especially in the head region. Rae-1 is also up-regulated on a large variety of tumor cells. Together with H-60, Rae-1 is a ligand for the murine NKG2D receptor and a potent stimulator of innate immunity. The ligand-expressing tumor cells induce potent priming of cytotoxic T cells and sensitization of NK cells in vivo. Clone REA723 detects Rae-1α/β/γ/δ/ε. | Additional information: Clone REA723 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
