Description | CD73 (NT5E) Antibody, anti-human, FITC, REAdye_lease™. Clone REAL1172 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD73 (NT5E) antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL1172 recognizes the human CD73 (NT5E) antigen, which is a 70 kDa membrane-bound enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of AMP to bioactive adenosine at neutral pH. This glycoprotein is also called ecto-5'-nucleotidase. CD73 is present on subsets of T and B lymphozytes, follicular dendritic cells, endothelial cells, and marrow stromal cells (MSCs). CD73 (NT5E) acts as an inhibitory immune checkpoint molecule, expressed on cancer cells. It has been associated with poor survival and recurrence in patients with breast and ovarian cancer. In addition to the enzymatic role of CD73, it is an adhesion molecule. It mediates the interaction between endothelial cells and lymphocytes and takes a role in cell migration of normal and neoplastic cells. | For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675). | |
