Description | CD96 (TACTILE) Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA195 recognizes CD96, which is also known as T cell-activated increased late expression (TACTILE). CD96 is a single-pass transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the Ig superfamily and consists of three extracellular Ig-like domains and a membrane proximal region rich in proline/serine/threonine. Expression of CD96 is found on T cells, NK cells, and on majority of CD34+CD38- acute myeloid leukemic (AML) cells. CD96 interacts with CD155, which is also known as polio virus receptor and promotes NK cell adhesion to target cells expressing CD155. CD96 is further described as a tumor marker for T cell-acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) and AML. | Additional information: Clone REA195 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |
