Description | CD14 Antibody, anti-mouse, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA934 recognizes the mouse CD14 antigen, a cell surface glycoprotein preferentially expressed on monocytes/macrophages, but also on granulocytes, dendritic cells, Kupffer cells, and hepatocytes. In association with toll-like receptors TLR 4 and MD-2, CD14 is a highly specific co-receptor for bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and for a variety of other pathogen-associated molecular patterns of microbial sources. The association of CD14 with LPS is mediated by the LPS-binding protein (LBP). | Additional information: Clone REA934 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
