Descriptionα-Tubulin Antibody, anti-human/mouse/rat, FITC, REAdye_lease™. Clone REAL582 is an antibody fragment derived from the full α-Tubulin antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL582 recognizes the human, mouse and rat alpha chain of Tubulin (α-Tubulin), a heterodimer conisting of homologous but not identical a and b tubulin subunits. Tubulin is a member of the tubulin superfamily, which consists of six members (a, b, g, d, e and z tubulins) Tubulin is expressed by nearly all eukaryotic cells. Cancer cells show moderate to strong cytoplasmic expression, hepatocellular carcinomas have a weakly or negative expression. Tubulin is an essential part of microtubules, which are involved in a variety of cellular processes. They form the cytoskeleton and play a role in mitosis and meiosis. | For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675).
