Description | LIF Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA350 recognizes the human leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) antigen, a secreted variably glycosylated 180 amino acid protein also known as melanoma-derived lipoprotein lipase inhibitor (MLPLI). LIF is produced by a variety of cells including activated T cells and macrophages, myeloid cells, fibroblasts, liver, heart, and melanoma cells. It affects cell growth by inhibiting differentiation. Other properties attributed to the cytokine include the induction of hematopoietic differentiation in normal and myeloid leukemia cells, the induction of neuronal cell differentiation, and the stimulation of acute-phase protein synthesis in hepatocytes. | Additional information: Clone REA350 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |
