Description | CD107b Antibody, anti-mouse, APC-Vio® 770. Clone M3/84 recognizes the mouse CD107b antigen, a highly glycosylated 110 kD Single-pass type I membrane protein also known as Lysosome-associated membrane protein-2 (LAMP-2) or Mac-3 antigen. It is widely located in lysosomal membranes and the plasma membrane of macrophages and some myeloid cell lines. Under certain circumstances, e.g., after platelet activation, during granulocytic differentiation and activation, in malignant carcinoma cells, and in cytotoxic T lymphocytes, it is also found at the cell surface. CD107b has been described as a receptor for the selective import and degradation of cytosolic proteins in the lysosome, or chaperone-mediated autophagy. |
