Description | Desmin Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA1134 recognizes the human Desmin, a muscle-specific type III intermediate filament, which is found in cardiac muscle, skeletal muscle and smooth muscle tissue. Desmin is essential for proper muscular structure and function and plays an important role in regulating the sarcomere architecture and integrating sarcolemma, Z disk, and nuclear membrane in sarcomeres. | Clone REA1134 does not react with Keratin, Vimentin and Neurofilament and GFAP. | Additional information: Clone REA1134 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
