Description | TCR Vβ12 Antibody, anti-mouse, PE-Vio® 615, REAfinity™. Clone REA946 recognizes the mouse V beta 12 T cell receptor (TCR Vβ12). The T cell receptor is responsible for recognizing antigens bound to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules and plays an important role in T cell mediated immune responses. It is a disulfide-linked membrane-anchored heterodimeric glycoprotein normally consisting of the highly variable α and β chains expressed as part of a complex with the invariant CD3 chain molecules. The α and β TCR chains are composed of constant and variable regions, each encoded by distinct gene segments. REA946 recognizes TCR Vβ12 on mouse strains with b haplotypes (e.g., BALB/c, C3H, and DBA/1). | Additional information: Clone REA946 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
