Description | β2 Microglobulin Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAdye_lease™. Clone REAL845 is an antibody fragment derived from the full β2 Microglobulin antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL845 recognizes the β2 microglobulin, also known as B2M. β2 microglobulin is a component of the class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC), which is located on all nucleated cells, excluding red blood cells. β2 microglobulin plays a role in the presentation of peptide antigens to the immune system. It has no transmembrane region and binds to the alpha chain of MHC class I molecules and additionally to other class I-like molecules such as CD1 and Qa. β2 microglobulin is a positive marker for multiple myeloma and lymphoma, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and for inflammatory disorders and viral infections, including HIV and CMV. | For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675). |
