Description | CD47 Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAdye_lease™. Clone REAL250 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD47 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL250 recognizes CD47, a heavily glycosylated protein with an extracellular IgV domain, five transmembrane domains, and a cytoplasmic tail, which exists in four different isoforms. CD47 interact with integrins, Thrombospondin-1 (TSP-1), cell surface gylcoproteins SIRPα and SIRPβ. Owing to these interactions, CD47 plays an important role in lymphocyte homeostasis, maturation and activation of dendritic cells, cellular transmigration, and phagocytosis of cells. Expression of CD47 is found ubiquitously. CD47 is highly expressed on many different types of cancer and is considered as potential applications of CD47/SIRPα therapeutic blocking therapies. | For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675). |
