Description | Under-phospho Rb Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA708 recognizes the human Under-phospho Rb, also known as underphosphorylated Rb protein (retinoblastoma protein). The retinoblastoma protein is a nuclear phosphoprotein which acts as a tumor suppressor in normal cells. The underphosphorylated, active form of the retinoblastoma protein is present in resting or completely differentiated cells and can interact with E2F1 and represses its transcription activity, which leads to cell cycle arrest. The phosphorylated forms of retinoblastoma protein are found in proliferating cells. | Additional information: Clone REA708 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
