Description | CD137 Antibody, anti-mouse, APC-Vio® 770, REAfinity™. Clone REA936 recognizes the mouse CD137 antigen, a single-pass type I membrane protein also known as 4-1BB or TNFRSF9, which is a member of the TNFR superfamily. CD137 is expressed on the cell surface of T cells upon activation. The interaction of CD137 with its ligand, 4-1BBL, on antigen-presenting cells delivers a bidirectional co-stimulatory signal. CD137 engagement is shown to be required for CD8+ T cell survival and memory formation. CD137 is reported to have a strong antagonistic effect in in vitro functional assays. | Additional information: Clone REA936 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
