Description | TCR Vβ8.1, 8.2 Antibody, anti-mouse, Biotin, REAfinity™. Clone REA585 recognizes the mouse Vβ8.1, 8.2 T cell receptor (TCR Vβ8.1, 8.2) but not Vβ8.3. Vβ8.1 and 8.2 are variants of the TCR β chain that associates with the TCR α chain. The TCR is responsible for recognizing antigens bound to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules. It is a disulfide-linked membrane-anchored heterodimeric glycoprotein normally consisting of the highly variable α and β chains. TCR Vβ8.1, 8.2 is expressed on approximately 20 % of peripheral T cells in thymus, spleen, and other lymphoid organs in different mice strains, such as Balb/c, AKR, C57BL/6, AKR/B10.A. | Additional information: Clone REA585 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors |
