Description | CD298 Antibody, anti-human, FITC, REAfinity™. Clone REA217 recognizes CD298, the β3 subunit isoform of Na+, K+-ATPase, which is a membrane associated enzyme. Na+, K+-ATPase transports Na+ and K+ by coupling the hydrolysis of ATP to the transport of Na+ and K+. The movement of ions across the plasma membrane generates and maintains the electrochemical gradient required for osmoregulation, transport of molecules and nutrients. Na+, K+-ATPase consists of large catalytic α subunit and a smaller glycoprotein non-catalytic β subunit, which exists in three known isoforms. | Additional information: Clone REA217 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |
