Description | CD255 (TWEAK) Antibody, anti-human, Biotin. Clone CARL-1 reacts with the type II transmembrane protein CD255, also known as TWEAK, belonging to the TNF superfamily. It exists as membrane-bound and secreted form and is expressed on most tissues but not or weakly on hematopoietic lineage lines. TWEAK interacts with its receptor APO-3, which promotes inerleukin 8 (IL-8) secretion, activation of NF-κB, and endothelial cell proliferation and apoptosis. |
