Description | MRP14 Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA859 recognizes the human MRP14 antigen, a calcium- and zinc-binding protein also known as S100A9 or calgranulin-B. MRP14 is mainly expressed in myeloid cells, e.g. MDSCs, neutrophils, and monocytes, and plays an important role in the regulation of inflammatory processes and immune response. MRP14 is involved in neutrophil chemotaxis and adhesion, and is able to increase the bactericidal activity of neutrophils. | Additional information: Clone REA859 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
