Description | CD71 Antibody, anti-mouse, PerCP-Vio® 700, REAfinity™. Clone REA627 recognizes the mouse CD71 cell-surface antigen, which is also known as transferrin receptor protein 1 (TfR1), and essential for iron transport into proliferating cells. This homodimer is a single-pass type II membrane protein, which is able to bind one transferrin molecule per 90 kDa subunit. CD71 plays a role in cell proliferation by controlling the supply of iron and is expressed on erythroid precursors, immature proliferating cells, reticulocytes, but is very low expressed on resting leukocytes. | Additional information: Clone REA627 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
