Description | TOM22 Antibody, anti-human, APC, REAdye_lease™. Clone REAL439 is an antibody fragment derived from the full TOM22 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL439 recognizes the mitochondrial import receptor subunit TOM22 homolog antigen, a single-pass membrane protein which is also known as translocase of outer membrane 22 kDa subunit homolog. TOM22 is a central receptor component of the translocase of the outer membrane of mitochondria (TOM complex) responsible for the recognition and translocation of cytosolically synthesized mitochondrial preproteins. It functions together with the peripheral receptor TOM20 as the transit peptide receptor and facilitates the movement of preproteins into the translocation pore. | For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675). |
