DescriptionACTC1 Antibody, anti-human, FITC, REAdye_lease™. Clone REAL970 is an antibody fragment derived from the full ACTC1 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL970 recognizes ACTC1, which is also known as cardiac muscle alpha actin or Alpha-cardiac actin. It is an important protein of the thin filament in cardiac sarcomeres, which play a crucial role in muscle contraction and support the pump function of the heart. It belongs to the actin family, highly conserved proteins that are involved in various types of cell motility and are ubiquitously expressed in eukaryotic cells. Mutations in ACTC1 lead to dilated cardiomyopathy. ACTC1 is considered as a prognostic marker for glioma and for liver metastasis. | For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675). | | | |
