DescriptionCD184 (CXCR4) Antibody, anti-mouse, PE-Vio® 770, REAfinity™. Clone REA107 reacts with CD184, a receptor for C-X-C chemokine CXCL12/SDF-1. CD184 is a seven membrane spanning receptor and belongs to the family of G-protein coupled chemokine receptors. Expression of CD184 is found in tissues including spleen, thymus, bone marrow, lymph nodes, and at lower levels in small intestine, kidney, and stomach. Diverse functions of CD184 include promoting survival and proliferation of hematopoietic stem cells, inducing apoptosis in T cells, regulating osteoclastogenesis, B cell development, vascularization of the gastrointestinal tract, germ cell migration/survival, and cerebellar development. CD184 also serves as a co-receptor for entry into target cells by HIV-1 X4 and interacts with extracellular ubiquitin. | Additional information: Clone REA107 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
