| Description | IL-2 Antibody, anti-mouse, pure-functional grade. Interleukin 2 (IL-2), mainly produced by activated CD4+ T cells, is a central regulator of the immune response. It induces cell cycle progression of resting cells in an antigen non-specific manner and allows clonal expansion of activated T cells. IL-2 has been found to stimulate growth and differentiation of B cells, NK cells, monocytes. and oligodendrocytes. In addition, IL-2 plays a role in hematopoiesis, tumor surveillance, and anti-inflammatory reactions. |
