Description | CD263 (TRAIL-R3) Antibody, anti-human, APC. Clone DJR3 recognizes the human CD263 antigen, a glycophospholipid-anchored cell membrane protein which is also known as TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand receptor 3 (TRAIL-R3) or tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 10C (TNFRSF10C). CD263 is the receptor for the cytotoxic ligand TRAIL. It lacks a cytoplasmic death domain shared by several members of the TNF receptor superfamily and hence is not capable of inducing apoptosis. CD263 is highly expressed in peripheral blood lymphocytes, spleen, skeletal muscle, placenta, lung, and heart. It is higher expressed in normal tissues than in tumor cell lines. |
