DescriptionCD304 (BDCA-4) Antibody, anti-mouse, PE-Vio® 770, REAfinity™. Clone REA380 recognizes the mouse CD304 antigen, a single-pass type I membrane protein also known as neuropilin-1 or blood dendritic cell antigen-4 (BDCA-4). There are differences in the CD304 expression between mice and humans. In mice, CD304 is selectively expressed on natural T regulatory cells and greatly enhances immunosuppressive function. It is also expressed on a subset of invariant natural killer T cells, endothelial cells, and neurons. In humans, CD304 is expressed on plasmacytoid dendritic cells where it aids in priming immune responses and on a subset of T regulatory cells isolated from secondary lymph nodes. CD304 acts as a coreceptor for a number of extracellular ligands including class III/IV semaphorins, certain isoforms of vascular endothelial growth factor and transforming growth factor beta. It is involved in the development of the cardiovascular system, in angiogenesis, in the formation of certain neuronal circuits, and in organogenesis outside the nervous system. | Additional information: Clone REA380 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
