Description | Integrin β6 Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA748 recognizes the human integrin β6 antigen, a 95 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein which is a member of the integrin β family. Integrins are heterodimeric glycoprotein receptors and exist as non-covalently bound α and β subunits. Integrin β6, also known as ITGB6, is a receptor for fibronectin and cytotactin and interacts with coxsackievirus A9 and coxsackievirus B1 proteins. Integrin β6 forms heterodimers with integrin αV. Internalisation of integrin αV/β6 via clathrin-mediated endocytosis promotes carcinoma cell invasion. | Additional information: Clone REA748 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
