Description | TdT Antibody, anti-human/mouse, Biotin. The monoclonal antibody 19-3 recognizes the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT), a template independent 60 KDa DNA polymerase. TdT catalyzes addition of deoxynucleotides to the 3'-OH terminus of oligonucleotide primer segments. Expression of TdT is found in immature lymphocytes during early differentiation where it is involved in generating antigen receptor diversity by mediating Ig gene rearrangement. |
