DescriptionCD100 Antibody, anti-mouse, PE-Vio® 770, REAfinity™. Clone REA322 recognizes the mouse CD100 antigen, a single-pass type I membrane protein which is also known as semaphorin 4D (Sema4D). CD100 is strongly expressed in lymphoid tissues, especially in the thymus, as well as in the nervous tissues. It is also overexpressed by some malignancies and plays a role in tumor-induced angiogenesis similar to vascular endothelial growth factor. CD100 is a member of a family of transmembrane and secreted proteins that have been shown to act through its receptor plexin-B1 to regulate axon growth cone guidance, lymphocyte activation, and bone density. It has been shown to interact with the B cell coreceptor CD72 for enhancing B cell receptor signaling. | | Additional information: Clone REA322 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
