Description | Neurofilament M (160 kD) Antibody, anti-human/mouse, APC, REAdye_lease™. Clone REAL962 is an antibody fragment derived from the full Neurofilament M (160 kD) antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL962 recognizes the human and mouse Neurofilament M (160 kD) protein, also known as Neurofilament 3 and belongs to the intermediate filament (IF) family. Neurofilaments IFs are components of most eukaryotic cells, differ significantly from other cellular cytoskeletal elements and are found predominantly in cells or tissues of neuronal origin. Mutations of the Neurofilament 160 KDa gene leads to neuroaxonal damages and further to various neurological disorders. | For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675). |
