Description | OSMRβ Antibody, anti-human, Biotin, REAfinity™. Clone REA837 recognizes the human Anti-OSMRβ antigen, the β subunit of the Oncostatin-M-specific receptor (OSMR). OSMRβ belongs to the IL-6 receptor family and is activated by Oncostatin-M. Its expression is up-regulated by IFN-γ and bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS). OSMRβ is found in high levels in all neural cells as well as in fibroblast, in epithelial cells, and in a variety of tumor cell lines. OSM is most closely related to leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) and it utilizes the LIF receptor in addition to its specific receptor in the human. | Additional information: Clone REA837 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
