Description | CD252 (OX40L) Antibody, anti-mouse, PE-Vio® 615, REAfinity™. Clone REA960 recognizes the mouse CD252 antigen, also known as OX40L, a ligand of the OX40 receptor belonging to the TNF superfamily. Expression of CD252 can be induced on B cells, dendritic cells, macrophages, mast cells, NK cells, endothelial cells, and smooth muscle cells. Expression of the cognate receptor OX40, is found on activated CD4 cells, CD8 cells, regulatory T cells, NKT cells, NK cells, and neutrophils, but the function of OX40 signaling is extensively studied only in T cells. CD252-OX40 interaction promotes the proliferation and surival of effector T cells, modulates cytokine production, suppresses the activity of natural regulatory T cells (nTreg) and inhibits the generation of inducible Treg cells. | Additional information: Clone REA960 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
