Description | STAT4 pY693 Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA855 recognizes the human signal transducer and activator of transcription 4 (STAT4) antigen phosphorylated at tyrosine 693 (pY693). STAT4 is a member of signal transducers and activators of the transcription (STAT) family. STAT proteins transmit signals from a receptor complex to the nucleus and activate gene expression. The seven STAT family members play a critical role in activation of signaling pathways in response to the presence of various cytokines and growth factors (interferon α (IFN-α), interferon γ (IFN-γ), EGF, PDGF, and interleukin 6 (IL-6)). STAT4 is involved in the development of T?1 cells from naive CD4+ T cells and IFN-γ production in response to IL-12. | Additional information: Clone REA855 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
