Description | CD49e Antibody, anti-mouse, APC. The monoclonal antibody 5H10-27 recognizes mouse CD49e, also known as integrin α5, which interacts with integrin β1 (CD29) to form the heterodimer VLA-5, the fibronectin receptor. It is expressed on activated T cells, thymocytes, mast cells, and splenic B cells and plays a role in cell-surface mediated signaling and in adhesion. The 5H10-27 antibody has been shown to inhibit VLA-5 mediated functions and promote the stimulation of CD8+ cells in vitro. | |
