Description | CD253 Antibody, anti-mouse, Biotin, REAfinity™. Clone REA1030 recognizes the mouse CD253 antigen, a type 2 transmembrane protein also known as TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL), APO-2 ligand (APO-2L), or TNF ligand superfamily member 10 (TNFSF10). CD253 is expressed on a variety of cells of the innate and adaptive immune system, including natural killer (NK) cells. Often expression is induced or upregulated upon activation. CD253 can trigger apoptosis through trimerization of death receptor DR5 (TRAILR). | Additional information: Clone REA1030 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
