Description | Myosin-1 Antibody, anti-human, FITC, REAdye_lease™. Clone REAL1157 is an antibody fragment derived from the full Myosin-1 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL1157 recognizes the human Myosin-1, also known as Myosin Heavy Chain, Skeletal Muscle. Myosins are a superfamily of genes, whose proteins are involded in muscle contraction and various motility processes in eukaryotes. They are ATP-dependent and responsible for actin-based motility. Skeletal muscle myosin, the most conspicuous of the myosin superfamily, makes up part of the sarcomere and forms macromolecular filaments composed of multiple myosin subunits. Myosin-1 is specific for the myosin heavy chain in skeletal muscle and does not recognize human or animal cardiac or smooth muscle myosin. | For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675). | |
