Description | CD119 Antibody, anti-human, Biotin, REAfinity™. Clone REA161 recognizes CD119, the alpha chain subunit of the IFN-γ receptor. CD119 is a 80-100 kDa type I transmembrane protein and is responsible for IFN-γ binding. Along with the β chain, CD119 is also involved in signal transduction via STAT1 activation. Except for mature erythrocytes, expression of CD119 is found on the surface of most human cells. | Additional information: Clone REA161 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | | |
