DescriptionCD140b pY857 Antibody, anti-mouse, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA628 recognizes the mouse CD140b antigen phosphorylated at tyrosine 857 (pY857). CD140b is a single-pass type I membrane protein also known as platelet-derived growth factor receptor beta (PDGFR-beta). PDGFR is composed of PDGFRα (CD140a) and/or PDGFRβ (CD140b) molecules. CD140b is broadly expressed in embryonic tissue and in cells of mesodermal origin, in adult tissue as fibroblasts, smooth muscle cells, glial cells, and chondrocytes. It is a tyrosine-protein kinase and receptor dimerization and transphosphorylation at tyrosine residues activates the intracellular kinase activity. CD140b plays an essential role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, survival, differentiation, chemotaxis, and migration. | Additional information: Clone REA628 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
