Description | CD255 (TWEAK) Antibody, anti-mouse, PE. The monoclonal antibody MTW-1 reacts with mouse CD255 also known as TWEAK which is a type II transmembrane member of the TNF superfamily with a molecular weight of 27 kDa. It is expressed on a variety of cell types and binds to the TWEAK receptor, Fn14. It functions as an inducer of apoptosis in some cell types, promotes angiogenesis and the proliferation of endothelial cells. Furthermore, it is implicated in the induction of inflammatory cytokines. |
