| Description | Mouse anti Human Leu5-enkephalin antibody, clone NOC.1 recognizes bioth Met5- and Leu5-enkephalin, secreted peptides which mimic the effect of opiate drugs. Mouse anti Human Leu5-enkephalin antibody, clone NOC.1 recognizes well established enkephalin immunoreactive sites, but does not bind to areas known to contain beta-endorphin or dynorphin in IHC. Cross reactivity with Met5-enkephalin and lack of reactivity with the peptide Gly-Gly-Phe-Leu and other related peptides by inhibition of radiolabelled Leu5-enkephalin is noted (Andersson et al. 1995). |
