| Description | Specificity: Specificity Human CD18/beta2 integrin. CD18 is the 90-95 kDa transmembrane beta2 integrin that associates non-covalently with the beta chains of CD11a/LFA-1beta, CD11b/Mac-1beta and CD11c to form various integrin heterodimers. It is expressed strongly on lymphocytes and monocytes, and, weakly, on granulocytes. CD18 is involved in both homotypic and heterotypic adhesion reactions, and it regulates the ligand-binding activities of the various CD11/CD18 complexes. |
