| Description | Specificity: Antibody SN8 recognizes the extracellular part of the BCR complex beta chain (CD79b) which has a molecular weight of approximately 38kd (1, 4). mAb Name/Clone: SN8/3A2-2E7Human CD79b is the B cell antigen receptor Igb chain (BCR-Igb) which associates with B cell antigen receptor Ig a chain to form a functional heterodimer that interacts with membrane immunoglobulin (mIg). The mIgM component binds antigen and the Iga/Igb heterodimer transduces signals. Antibody SN8 recognizes the extracellular part of the BCR complex b chain (CD79b) which has a molecular weight of approximately 38 kd. |
