| Description | Specificity: Anti-DcR3 (NT) [Rabbit antibody to peptide corresponding to aa 31-46 of human DcR3 precursor. Recognizes human, mouse, and rat DcR3.]. This antibody recognizes human, mouse, and rat DcR3 (33 kD). Apoptosis is induced by certain cytokines including TNF and Fas ligand through their death domain-containing receptors. Several novel members in the TNF receptor family, including DR3, DR4, DR5 and DR6, function as cell death receptors. Two decoy receptors, DcR1 and DcR2, compete with DR4 and DR5 for binding of their ligand, TRAIL. Another decoy receptor, DcR3/TR6 was discovered recently.
