| Description | This GFRA4 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 156-184 amino acids from the Central region of human GFRA4. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the GDNFreceptor family. It is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol(GPI)-linkedcell surface receptor for persephin, and mediates activation of theRET tyrosine kinase receptor. This gene is a candidate gene forRET-associated diseases. Alternatively spliced transcript variantsencoding different isoforms have been described for this gene. |
